Clear and bright with a straw yellow hue and a bouquet of yellow apple, tropical fruit, pear, spice, and toasty oak. A medium to full-bodied, slightly rich, and round Chardonnay with enough acidity to refresh on the finish. Wonderful flavours of tropical fruit, melon, pear, spice, oak, and butter glide across the palate. The lingering finish shows notes of grilled lemon and lime, green apple, spice, and toasty oak. A perfect balance between fruit, spice and oak nuances.

WINE MAKING

Harvested September 22 through October 6 from our long-standing growers within the Niagara Peninsula. Barrel fermented and aged sur lie for 10 months in 100% French oak barrels, of which 20% were new. No malolactic fermentation.

FLAVOUR PROFILE

Clear and bright with a straw yellow hue and a bouquet of yellow apple, tropical fruit, pear, spice, and toasty oak. SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve lightly chilled at 13 to 15°C. Serve with roasted lemon chicken; smoked salmon risotto; mushroom risotto; cedar planked salmon; creamy garlic pasta dishes; creamy scallop potatoes and chicken skewers; apple-wood smoked cheddar with crusty baguette; vodka cream sauce pasta; smoked paprika and yogurt marinated grilled chicken; barbecued pork chops with Dijon and tarragon; turkey pot pie; cream of mushroom soup.
